The display and editing of assets and their properties in the ATG Business Control Center is controlled by the View Mapping system, which is an object-based framework of dynamically generated pages created by combining an Item View page fragment and one or more Property View fragments. The View Mapping system creates the pages at runtime according to the configuration defined in the View Mapping repository. This behavior lets you customize the asset and property UI without having to hard-code links or parameters directly into the pages themselves.
