Bug ID 15526839

When configured for sideband network port sharing, in-chip connectivity between the service processor (SP) and the host operating system is not supported by the on-board host Gigabit Ethernet controller.

Affected hardware and software:

Sun Fire X4170 M2 Server
Sun Fire X4270 M2 Server
Releases 1.0 through 1.10.1

Workaround:

Use a different port or route to transmit traffic between the source and destination targets instead of using L2 bridging/switching.
