Oracle ILOM command-line interface (CLI) shows an incorrect HDD PRSNT value after a storage drive has been hot removed or hot inserted.
Issue:
HDD PRSNT sensor status update is inconsistent after hot removal or hot insertion of a storage drive. Sometimes the sensor status will update immediately and other times it does not.
Affected hardware and software:
Sun Fire X4170 M2 Server
Releases 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.2.2, and 1.2.3
