The BIOS has a Setup utility stored in the BIOS flash memory. The Setup utility reports system information and can be used to configure the BIOS settings. The configured data is provided with context-sensitive help and is stored in the system's battery-backed CMOS RAM. If the configuration stored in the CMOS RAM is invalid, the BIOS settings will default to the original state specified at the factory. Also, you can reset settings to factory default by clearing the CMOS settings.
The BIOS Setup utility contains menu screens. See BIOS Screens for summaries of first-level BIOS
Setup screens and submenus, where applicable.
The blade server has an option ROM for each of the following components:
Intel 82576 1GbE dual Network and Intel 82599 10GbE dual Network interfaces
AMC interfaces
ARTM interfaces
Note - PXE boot from fabric interface is disabled by default. You must change the BIOS
setting to boot from fabric interfaces (see Change BIOS Parameters).
Fields that can be configured are highlighted on the screens. All other fields are non-configurable.
Use the left and right arrow keys to move sequentially through the BIOS screens.
Use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through a screen's menu.
Use the Tab key to move across columns.
