Change the OOS LED Color

The color of the OOS LED can be set to red or amber by moving DIP switch SW7503 to the appropriate position. Amber is the default color for the OOS LED.

  1. Remove the blade server.

    See Power Off and Remove the Blade Server.

  2. Move DIP switch to desired position.

    Amber = Closed (in direction of arrow)

    Red = Open (opposite direction of arrow)

  3. Reinstall the blade server.
