You can change the password for a customer at any time. This is useful when the customer feels that the security of the current password is in jeopardy, or the customer cannot remember the current password.

To change a customer’s password:

  1. Activate the customer as outlined in Searching For Existing Customers .

  2. Select the customer’s name in the Global Access Panel. This brings up the customer’s profile page.

  3. Click the Email New Password link. The system will generate a new password and e-mail it to the customer at the email address provided.

  4. A message will identify that a new password has been generated and will be sent.
