How to Remove a Discovery Domain Set

After you remove a discovery domain set, its discovery domains remain. A discovery domain must be a member of at least one discovery domain set.

  1. You must be assigned the following authorizations when managing the iSNS service:
    • solaris.isnsmgr.write

    • solaris.smf.manage.isns

    • solaris.smf.value.isns

For information about assigning authorizations to a role, see Chapter 3, Assigning Rights in Oracle Solaris in Securing Users and Processes in Oracle Solaris 11.4.

  2. List the discovery domain sets to identify the one you want to remove.
    # isnsadm list-dd-set -v
  3. Remove the discovery domain set.
    # isnsadm remove-dd-set set_name
