# mkfs -F FS-type -o FS-type-specific-options device
where FS-type-specific-options refers to options that are specific to the file system type you are creating.
The following example creates a PCFS file system.
# mkfs -F pcfs -o nofdisk,size=9800 /dev/rdsk/c11t0d0p0
The following example create a UDFS file system.
# mkfs -F udfs /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0p0
