Host Platform Support

The HBA is supported by the platforms listed in Figure 2, Table 2, Host Platform Support. For the latest information, refer to the product notes for your system.

Storage System Support

Internal disk drives are the only storage supported by the HBA.

Software Support

Install, Flash, and BIOS configuration utilities are provided. The HBA uses the MegaRAID Firmware Interface (MFI) architecture for all major operating systems, which allows for thinner drivers for better performance.
