In this design implementation, any path the shopper takes that is purely category-driven navigates them to the Category page. For example, if the shopper clicks on a top-level category in the main menu on CRS Store they are taken to that category’s page. Developers can build targeted landing pages for specific subsets of the catalog (brand) or to target different user segments for the shopper’s iOS devices using Oracle Commerce Experience Manager.

The following illustration is an iPhone example of Category Landing Page.

Implementing the Category Landing Page

A merchandiser can build targeted landing pages for specific subsets of their catalog or brand or to target different user segments for their native iOS application using Oracle Commerce Experience Manager. Category results are rendered through the featured items cartridge in Oracle Commerce Experience Manager. Featured items are located above the results list for a given Category search. The following illustration shows an implementation of the Category Landing Page in Oracle Commerce Experience Manager.
