Notes:

Remarks on the Program Function

Go to System -> User Interface -> Touch Layout.

The general layout and the linked screen pages are defined with this update program, i.e. the height and width and the number of columns and rows for the function key concerned. The general layout for the screen pages of the following screens is defined via the defaults in field "Layout type". This setting has priority over the values in fields Height, Width, Columns, Rows.

Layout type

Description

Non POS 30

All touch layouts without coding "_30", "_30L" and "_30LH".

POS 30

All touch layouts with coding "_30" and "_30H" and _30FH". (30L = 35 keys, 30F = 54 keys)

POS 30 large

POS 30 Pocket

All touch layouts with coding "PocketPC".

POS 40 large

All touch layouts with coding " Layout_40". (= Resolution 1024 und 1152).
Note:
The layout for this touch screen POS can be configured via button "Add.data" with additional parameters.

These values can, however, be changed in program Touch Page and the update program Layout program. In addition, you give the new layout a unique number. The touch layout consists of one or more layout pages and touch keys.

Attention!
The following standard layouts have been programmed under Numbers 1 to 25 for the appropriate Terminal programs .

If a new layout is required, the copy procedure can be applied, i.e. a standard layout is selected and this is duplicated with Process -> Copy -> Object tree (description see Touch Screen Layout Configuration). As the standard layout returns to the old values after every "UiSales.fgl" and "dofgl.fgl" and thus after every release change, it is important that the new layout should be programmed under its own unique free layout no..

Adding new screen pages to the existing layout is done with button "Create page" in program Touch Page. After clicking on this button in the program, you can create a screen page that corresponds to the layout type you defined in the program Touch Layout.
