Associating a Price List with the Market Product

Prerequisites

To associate the market product with a price list, you should have:

  • Price list defined in the application.

Procedure

To associate the market product a with price list:

  1. Ensure that the is Price List zone expanded in the of Price List page when you are associating the market product with the Price List.

    The Price List zone contains Search Price List section.

    The Search Price List section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Price List ID or Description Used to indicate whether you want to search for a price list using the price list details. Yes
    Start Date Used to specify the date from when the price list of the product is effective. Yes
    End Date Used to specify the date till when the price list of the product is effective. Yes

    The Search Results section contains the following fields:

    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Select Used to indicate whether the price list is selected or not. Yes
    Price List ID and Description Displays the price list id and name. Not applicable
    Start Date Displays the date from when the price list of the product is effective. Not applicable
    End Date Displays the date till when the price list of the product is effective. Not applicable
  2. Select the required price list in the grid, to associate with a market product.
  3. Click Back button, to go back to Services page.
  4. Click Save as Draft, to save the market product in the draft.
  5. Click Select and Proceed, to go to Price List Added section. It contains the following fields in the grid:
    Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No)
    Priority Indicates the order in which the assigned price list must be considered while determining the price item pricing for the market product. Yes
    Price List ID or Description Used to indicate whether you want to search for a price list using the price list details. Not applicable
    Validity Period Used to specify the period date range or number of days for which the price list is valid. It is used to calculate price list assignment validity end date while assigning the price list to the market product. The valid values are:
    • Date Range
    • Number of Days
    		 Yes
  6. Add, edit or delete the required price list in the grid, to associate with a market product.
  7. Click Back button, to go back to Services page.
  8. Click Save as Draft, to save the market product in the draft.
    The market product is saved as draft in the application.
  9. Click Submit.
    A window appears confirming the product is submitted in the system.
  10. Click the Close button in the confirmation window.
    The product is added.
    Tip: Alternatively, you can access the Market Product Information screen by clicking the Add Market Product button in the Page Title area of the Market Product screen.
