Commerce Service Center allows you to add a Gift with Purchase promotion, which is a promotion that occurs when a shopper qualifies for a free gift by making a specific purchase. This promotion recognizes a specific item within the customer’s shopping cart and indicates to you that a free gift is available. This promotion appears in the Promotions browser.

Free gifts, which are configured by your administrators, can be a single SKU or product, or an item from a single category or content group. If the free gift is being selected from a category or content group, a gift selector appears, allowing you to pick a gift from the available choices. The gift selector only presents a list of gifts that can be added to the current cart’s sharing group. If the free gift is a single item, such as an SKU or product, the item is automatically added to the cart, if not in the cart already. If the item is already in the cart, the item’s price changes to$0.00.
