If an item in an original order was priced with a price override, the price for any items that are added to the Exchange Order will not be calculated. For example:
The original order contains a quantity of three of item X with a list price of $10.00 each. The total price for the three items has been overridden to $21.00, or $7.00 each.
The customer returns one of item X, and adds one of item X to the Exchange Order.
Commerce Service Center calculates a return amount for item X by taking the total price and dividing by the number of items (3/$21.00) or $7.00. Any remainder will stay in the original order until the last item is returned. However, Commerce Service Center does not use the original price for item X in the Exchange Order, but calculates new pricing , or $10.00. Note: Agents can override the Exchange Order price if necessary.
