The HBA supports connecting to any 8 Gb/s Fibre Channel (FC) switch from any vendor that follows standard FC specifications, with the following considerations:
Direct Access Storage for FC is supported with COMSTAR.
The NIC portion of this adapter is supported by all 1-Gb Ethernet switches.
The HBA is supported by the software applications listed in Figure 4, Table 4, Software Support .
