Oracle Solaris 10 U11 installation fails in a system configured with the Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter (17977420)

When Oracle Solaris 10 U11 is installed on a system with a configured Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter, the Oracle Solaris installation will fail.

Affected hardware and software:

Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter
Oracle Solaris 10 U11

Workaround:

Disable PCI 64-bit resource allocation in BIOS before installing Oracle Solaris 10 U11.
