BIOS Known Issues

Do not preserve BIOS configuration when downgrading from SW release 1.3 to 1.2 (17719173)

Oracle Solaris 10 U11 installation fails in system configured with the Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter (17977420)

When Oracle Solaris 10 U11 is installed on a system with a configured Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter , the Oracle Solaris installation will fail.

Affected hardware and software:

Releases 1.0 and later
Sun Dual Port 4x QDR IB Host Channel Adapter
Oracle Solaris 10 U11

Workaround:

Disable PCI 64-bit resource allocation in BIOS before installing Solaris 10 U11.
