This manual has two primary purposes:
It provides an introduction to the ATG Business Control Center interface and describes how to perform tasks that are common to any application that uses this interface. These tasks include navigating the UI, performing batch edits, and using elements such as the Search tab.
It describes in detail how to use the ATG Business Control Center to create and manage user segments, content targeters, and content groups, which are the ATG Personalization features that you use to set up a Web site that displays dynamic content.
The following topics are not covered in this guide:
Managing user profiles, organizations, and roles. Refer to the ATG Business Control Center Administration and Development Guide for information on creating and editing these items.
Completing ATG Content Administration tasks. For detailed information on the ATG Content Administration tasks that you can perform through the ATG Business Control Center, for example creating projects and managing the deployment of Web site assets, refer to the ATG Content Administration documentation.
Using the ATG Business Control Center with specific ATG applications. As mentioned earlier, several ATG applications are built on the ATG Business Control Center framework and use it as their launching point. For detailed information on using these applications, refer to their documentation sets.
