The Solution Document panel displays the solution. The panel allows you to perform the following
Copying Solution ID
Selecting the Copy Solution ID icon copies the ID number of the displayed solution to the clipboard. You can then paste that solution ID in some other text by right-clicking and selecting Paste or entering CTRL+V.
Merging Solutions by ID
To merge solutions by id:
Select the Merge Solution by ID icon
Enter the ID of a second solution to merge into the current solution.
The second solution is not deleted until the merged solution has been published, and may still appear in the Service Center.
Note: You can only merge solutions of the same solution class.
You are then presented with content from both solutions. Choose the base solution and which content you want to preserve from each solution.
When you have finishing selecting your content, choose Merge or Cancel from the Next Steps panel.
If you choose Merge, you will be taken to the Contribute tab with your merged solution shown in the Authoring pane, ready to continue editing.
You can then choose from several options in the Next Steps pane, such as Save, Create New Solution, or Discard.
Printing
Selecting the Print icon opens the solution in a separate browser window and initiates your browser’s print dialog box.
