You can add My Dashboard to your list of Portal Tabs, making it easier to locate. Locate My Dashboard and click the Add to my portal tabs icon under the Actions column. My Dashboard will now appear as a portal tab at the top of the screen, next to Public Folders and any other tabs you may have:
