This procedure describes how to use the DIMM LEDs on the motherboard to pinpoint the physical location of a faulty DIMM.

When a faulty DIMM is detected, the front panel Fault LED is illuminated. Before opening the server module to check the DIMM Fault LEDs, verify that the Fault LED is lit.
If the Fault LED is not lit, and you suspect there is a problem, see Diagnostics Process.
If the Fault LED is lit, go to the next step.
While the Fault Remind button is pressed, an LED next to the faulty DIMM lights, enabling you to identify the faulty DIMM. See DIMM LEDs.
