Fault events and notifications in Oracle ILOM are automatically cleared when the repaired or replaced resource is associated with a field-replaceable u nit (FRU). However, when a repaired or replaced resource is not associated with a FRU, Oracle ILOM is unable to detect the change; therefore, the fault event notification is not automatically cleared in the Open Problems output or in the log files.
