An asset is an object that forms part of an Oracle Commerce Platform application. An asset often represents a piece of content that you need to create or edit for display on a Web site, for example a JPEG image or a file containing press release text. However, elements you use to manage or personalize your site, for example scenarios and slots, are also assets, and these items must also be deployed to your site through ATG Content Administration.
