The Browse Assets page lets you find, view, and perform a limited set of operations on the checked-in version (and historical version data) of any asset in the versioning system. Although you can create and work on projects without using the Browse Assets page, the following examples show some situations in which you might want to take advantage of its features:

To use the Browse Assets page to find an asset:

The system displays Search and Browse tabs, which you can use to search for a specific asset or browse through your existing asset directories. These are the same asset picker tabs you use when you add assets to a project. For more information on how to use them, see the Creating and Managing Assets chapter.
