When you convert your Forge pipeline data to CAS data, the following changes are made to records and dimensions in order to provide a seamless transformation.
If records share the same record spec, the utility persists only the last record with the record spec and ignores all the prior records.
If a record has multiple occurrences of a record spec property then the utility only considers the first occurrence of the record spec property. The utility discards the subsequent occurrences by removing the property from the record.
If a dimension has multiple occurrences of a dimension value, the dimension value ID is appended to the dimension value in both the generated dimension value ID mappings file and the transformed dimensions file.
If a dimension name has a forward slash character "/" , it is replaced with an underscore "_".
If a dimension value has a double quotation mark character " " ", it is replaced with an at sign "@".
If a dimension value has a new line character "\n", it is replaced with a space " ".
