Use the $basedOn
property to apply the configuration properties of one component to another. You can override individual properties for the component that is based on the other. Use the $basedOn
property when you need multiple components to share many of their configuration properties.
Set the value of the $basedOn
property to the Nucleus path of the component that will supply property values to the current component.
The following configuration file shows the $basedOn
property.
