If you use the standard href link syntax, for example, using <a href="/aboutUs">About Us<a/> within a widget, this causes the entire to page load. For better efficiency, instead use the ccLink custom binding. Note that this approach will only improve performance in internal page-to-page navigation and will not improve external web link performance.
