Editing a Bill Route Method - Contact Method Mapping Preference

Prerequisites

To edit a bill route method - contact method mapping preference, you should have:

  • Values defined in the FIELD_​CAT_​FLG and FIELD_​NAME_​FLG lookup fields

Procedure

To edit a bill route method - contact method mapping preference:

  1. Search for a bill route method - contact method mapping preference in the Field Mapping screen.
  2. In the Search Results section, click the Edit (The Edit Icon) icon in the Edit column corresponding to the a bill route method contact method mapping preference whose details you want to edit.

    The Bill Route Method - Contact Method Mapping screen appears. It contains the following sections:

    • Main - Used to specify basic details of the bill route method - contact method mapping preference. It contains the following fields:

      Bill Routing Method Indicates the bill routing method for which you want to map the preferred contact method.
      Note: Here, the list includes all the values which are defined in the BILL_​RTG_​METH_​FLG lookup field.
      		 Yes (Conditional)
      Note: This field is required while setting a bill routing and preferred contact method in a bill route method - contact method mapping preference
      Preferred Contact Method Indicates the preferred contact method for the bill routing method.
      Note: Here, the list includes all the values which are defined in the CONTACT_​METH_​FLG lookup field.
      		 Yes (Conditional)
      Note: This field is required while setting a bill routing and preferred contact method in a bill route method - contact method mapping preference.
      Note:

      If a preference is defined using the C1_​BillRouteCntMethMap business object, the system will derive the preferred contact method for the bill routing method from the preference while creating a customer contact for the delinquent account.

      Alternatively, you can edit the details of a bill route method - contact method mapping preference by clicking the Edit button in the Field Mapping zone.

  3. Modify the required details in the Main section.
  4. Define, edit, or remove the bill routing and preferred contact method from the bill route method - contact method mapping preference, if required.
    Note: You must set at least one bill routing and preferred contact method in a bill route method - contact method mapping preference.
  5. Click Save.
    The changes made to the bill route method - contact method mapping preference are saved.
