In addition to the facet sets you create in the Workbench, you can create and manage facets using Oracle ATG Web Commerce Merchandising (see the ATG Merchandising Guide for Business Users). These two types of facet sets exist completely independent of one another; you cannot edit facet sets created in Merchandising in the Workbench, or vice versa.
You can, however, use the Workbench to view your indexed facet sets regardless of where they were created. This allows you to see which facet sets have been indexed and confirm the definitions of individual facet sets.
To view facet set adaptors:
On the Search Workbench tab, select Facet Sets from the Show menu.
In the Facet Sets menu, go to Facet Set Adaptors.
The page lists your facet sets and their points of origin.
