The SearchEngineService component gives you immediate access to Oracle ATG Web Commerce Search status information that is also included in the log files. The information includes the following:
Engine status (stopped or started)
Current engine activity, including response times
Commands per second
Engine failures
To view the SearchEngineService, go to http://host:port/dyn/admin/nucleus/atg/search/routing/SearchEngineService (see the ATG Installation and Configuration Guide for information on Dynamo Server Admin).
