Emergency Power Off

If there is an emergency, such as earthquake or flood, an abnormal smell or smoke coming from the machine, or a threat to human safety, then power to Oracle SuperCluster T5-8 should be halted immediately. In that case, use one of the following ways to power off the system.

  • Power off the system one of the following ways:
    • Turn off power at the circuit breaker, or pull the emergency power-off switch in the computer room.

    • Turn off the site EPO switch to remove power from Oracle SuperCluster T5-8.

    • Turn off the two PDUs in the rack.

    After the emergency, contact Oracle Support Services to restore power to the machine.
