Understanding CLIA Commands
The clia command commands are an intermediary interface to route directives to the
Pigeon Point Shelf Manager, internal to the switch. The CMC is similar to the
system controller used in Sun servers. Only the root user of the CMC
can run the clia command commands. The format of the clia command is as
follows:
# clia command [option] [address|string]
where:
-
command is the command being issued.
-
option is any option for that command.
-
address is the hexadecimal address of the device being manipulated.
-
string represents the address device pair.
