How to Print a File to the Default Printer

1. Log in to any system on the network.
2. (Optional)Verify the status of the printer.

   $ lpstat -p printer-name

3. Issue a print request in one of the following ways:
   • By using the lp command:

     $ lp filename

   • By using the lpr command:

     $ lpr filename
