This is a client-side Condition which checks to see whether the visitor clicks on a HTML page element specified when configuring the Condition.
The following configuration options are available for this Condition:
Element Property: This is used to specify the method used to identify the page element to be monitored. You can select the appropriate method for identifying the page element from the dropdown box in this Condition. The available methods for identifying the page element are:
Element ID
Element name
Element button text
Element source URL
Element alternative text
Element URL
Element title text.
Operator: This is used to specify the type of comparison to perform.
Element Property Value: This is used to identify the specific page element that should be monitored.
Note: If you select ‘Element button text’, ‘Element source URL’, ‘Element alternative text’, ‘Element URL’, or ‘Element title text’, then this Condition returns a True value if the visitor clicks on a page element that CONTAINS the specified value in the relevant element property.
Case Sensitive: This is used to specify whether or not the Condition uses case sensitive matching. Checking the box instructs the Condition to use case sensitive matching. This option is not available if you selected matches regular expression from the value dropdown.
Trim Whitespace: This is used to specify whether or not to trim leading or trailing whitespace from the value used for the comparison. Checking the box means that any leading or trailing whitespace shall be removed.
