Defining Approval Levels for an Approval Workflow Chain
Prerequisites
To define approval levels in the approval workflow chain, you should have:

The To Do Role and To Do Type defined in the application.

Action algorithms defined in the application, in case you want to use any of them.
Procedure
To define an approval levels for an approval workflow chain:

Ensure that the Approval Levels section
is expanded when you are defining or editing an approval workflow chain.
The Approval Levels section contains the following fields
Field Name Field Description Mandatory (Yes or No) Action Algorithm Used to specify the additional action that you want the system to perform apart from generating a notification when the approver approves or rejects the request. Note: You can search for an action algorithm by clicking the Search () icon corresponding to the Action Algorithm field.
Yes Approver To Do Role Used to specify the To Do role to indicate the users who will either approve or reject the request at this level in the hierarchy. Note: You can search for an approver to do role by clicking the Search () icon corresponding to the Approver To Do Role field.
Yes Approver To Do Type Used to specify the type of notification that you want to generate when the approver approves or rejects the request. Note: You can search for an approver to do type by clicking the Search () icon corresponding to the Approver To Do Type field.
Yes - Enter the required details in the Approval Levels section.

If you want to define more than one approval level for
the approval workflow chain, click the Add (
) icon and then repeat step 2. However, if you want to remove a approval level from the approval workflow chain, click the Delete (
) icon corresponding to the approval level.
