Prepare the Modular System for Power
Perform the following tasks before you connect the modular system and power it
on.

Install a readily accessible disconnect device external to the modular
system.

Provide an overcurrent protective device that is external to the
equipment.

Choose an appropriate rating of an overcurrent protective device according to
appropriate national and local electrical code or regulations.

Verify the PDU rating identified on the
compliance label as shown in Confirming Electrical and Power Requirements.

Verify the plug rating as shown in PDU Power Requirements.
