Unloading Route and Unpacking Area Requirements

Unloading the modular system pallet requires a dock with roll-up doors or a doorway with double doors that are at least eight feet high. When the crate is delivered, position the crate so that the front is facing where the ramps will be placed so that the modular system is rolled off the pallet. Due to its weight, a forklift or pallet jack is required to move the modular system on the pallet.

Caution

Caution  -  Avoid tipping or rocking the packaged modular system, as it can fall over and cause serious injury or death.

Leave the modular system in its shipping carton until you move it to its installation location. If the doorways are too narrow to accommodate the modular system, you might need to unpack the system and remove its doors in the receiving area before you move it to the final installation location. Ensure that the access route to the installation location can support the system's weight and that the route is free of raised patterns that can cause vibration. The route must meet the following requirements.

Use a separate area near the installation location to remove the packaging material to reduce particle contamination before entering the installation location. Ensure that there is enough space to remove the modular system from the shipping carton and unpack it.
