If you prefer a more manual approach to setting up your database, you can directly run the SQL scripts that ATG provides. The following sections explain how to do this for the ATG Adaptive Scenario Engine and ATG Portal. (If you are using ATG Content Administration, see the ATG Content Administration Programming Guide for information about creating the database tables for your content administration server.)
Note: After you create the database tables, you must restart the ATG application. See the Running Nucleus-Based Applications chapter of the ATG Programming Guide for more information.
