Topics can be associated with content in your index to help users locate information. Topics are created in hierarchies called topic sets. For example, you might provide the following topics sets to help customers locate information:
Store Information
Northeast Stores
Store A
Store Hours
Directions to Store
Store B
Rule patterns and macros allow you to automatically associate your content with topics.
Note: If you make changes to topic sets, you must reindex your search project before the topic changes are applied to your content.
