Use the pkg command-line utility to update from Oracle Solaris 11.1 to Oracle Solaris 11.2. If Oracle Solaris 11.1 is installed, with or without SRUs, no special steps are required to update the system.

This repository can either be the Oracle repositories or a copy of the repository that can be created by downloading the ISO images.
# pkg set-publisher -k ssl_key_file -c ssl_cert_file \ -G http://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/beta \ -g https://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/support \ solaris
To obtain the SSL certifiate and key, go to the https://pkg-register.oracle.comhttps://pkg-register.oracle.com site, click Request Certificates, and follow the instructions.
# pkg set-publisher -G http://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/beta \
-g http://pkg.oracle.com/solaris/release
# pkg update --license|less
# pkg update --accept
# reboot
