On a SPARC system, performing a hotplug operation on a Dual 10-Gigabit SFP+ FCoE CNA card might cause the system to panic.
The following error message is displayed:
panic[cpu0]/thread=2a1054cbc40: kernel heap corruption detected 000002a1054cb0a0 genunix:kmem_error+4b8 (400672b58f0, d, d, 30000978030, d, 1309800) %l0-3: 0000000001309800 fffffffffffffffe ffffffffffffffff 0000000001309800 %l4-7: 000183ea6c5fdbd0 000182da2364dcd9 00000000106b1000 0000000001309888 … … … syncing file systems... done dumping to /dev/zvol/dsk/rpool/dump, offset 65536, content: kernel sections: zfs 0:07 96% done (kernel) 0:08 100% done (zfs) 100% done: 488509 (kernel) + 19168 (zfs) pages dumped, dump succeeded rebooting... Workaround: Do not perform hotplug operations such as cfgadm and hotplug on the Dual 10-Gigabit SFP+ FCoE CNA card. You can try to use the attention button to avoid the panic but the button might not be effective.
