sdpib: ibt_get_ip_paths With APM Failed Status 25 on Oracle Solaris Cluster When Port Is Down (18692783)

Problem Summary: In Oracle Solaris 11.2, the Sockets Direct Protocol (SDP) that uses the Oracle Solaris Cluster's private network might fail when one redundant physical IB network path or port is faulted.

By default, Oracle Solaris 11.2 supports HCA Managed Failover based on IPMP and APM for SDP traffic. In an Oracle Solaris Cluster environment, the interconnects are not managed under IPMP and a transparent automatic recovery of the SDP traffic upon InfiniBand link failure is required.

Workaround: To enable the automatic recovery capability and to disable the HCA Managed Failover support, add the following line in the /etc/system file:

set sdpib:sdp_ip_path_verify=0

Reboot the node with the boot archive updated for the change to be effective.
