Resource Group Not Listed in the GUI When It Is in the Protection Group But Has Been Removed From the Cluster (18720984)

Problem Summary: If the application resource group in the protection group is removed from the cluster, the protection group experiences a configuration error. To fix this problem, you can either re-create the resource group or remove the resource group from the protection group. Removing the resource group from the protection group is not possible with the GUI because it does not list the resource group in the protection group page and the Remove button is grayed out.

Workaround: Use the geopg remove-resource-group resource-group-list protection-group-name command to remove the resource group from the protection group. This command will bring the protection group into the correct configuration.
