clresourcetype register Command Fails in the solaris10 Brand of Zone Clusters (19043805)

Problem Summary: Sometimes the clresourcetype register command might fail when run on a solaris10 brand of zone clusters. You might see one of the following errors:

# clrt register -f /SUNW.test_rt_deps -p RT_SYSTEM=TRUE RT1_spd_6

# clrt register -N SUNW.gds

clrt:  (C637184) Unrecognized option - "-W".
clrt:  (C637184) Unrecognized option - "-.".

clrt:  (C637184) Unrecognized option - "-d".
clrt:  (C637184) Unrecognized option - "-s".
clrt:  (C425781) Usage errors.

Usage:    clrt register [<options>] + | <resourcetype> ...
# geopg get -s partnershipname

Operation failed for following protection groups:
Unable to register resource type (0).

Workaround: Register the resource type in the global zone.

# clrt register -Z zone name resource type

Note -  In the Oracle Solaris Cluster Geographic Edition, it will not be possible to use the workaround when a command such as geopg get fails. Contact Oracle support services to see if a patch is available.
