Erase All Namespaces

The controller does not support the erase of a single namespace. Use the -a option to confirm the erase of all namespaces.

Before You Begin

Stop all IO to the NVMe device before attempting this action.

• To erase all namespaces, type:

  nvmeadm erase -a controller_name

  For example:

  nvmeadm erase -a SUNW-NVME-1
