An order is created when a shopper successfully completes the checkout process on your store. Once an order is created, your external order management system is the system of record and is responsible for fulfilling the order. The order management system implements the Oracle Commerce Cloud Service Admin REST API to send order data to your external systems and update the order’s status information as the order is fulfilled.
