Search Address

The Search Address zone allows you to search for an address using various search criteria. It appears in the Address screen as well as in the Person - Address tab. It contains the following two sections:

• Search Criteria - The Search Criteria section contains the following fields:

  Search By	Indicates that you want to search for an address using the address details. At present, there is only one valid value - Address Details. Note: By default, the Address Details option is selected.	Not applicable
  Address ID	Used to search a particular address.	No
  Person Name	Used to search addresses which are associated to one or more persons with the same name.	No
  Country	Used to search addresses which belong to a particular country.	No
  State	Used to search addresses which belong to a particular state.	No
  Address Line 1	Used to search addresses with a particular address line 1.	No
  City	Used to search addresses which belong to a particular city.	No
  Postal	Used to search addresses with a particular postal code.	No
  County	Used to search addresses which belong to a particular county.	No
  Address Line 2	Used to search addresses with a particular address line 2. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone. .	No
  Address Line 3	Used to search addresses with a particular address line 3. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No
  Address Line 4	Used to search addresses with a particular address line 4. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No
  Geographic Code	Used to search addresses which belong to a particular geographic code. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No
  Entity Type	Used to search addresses which are associated to a particular type of entity. The valid values are: Account Adjustment Person Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone. By default, the entity type is set to Person when you are searching the address using the person name as the search criteria. By default, the entity type is set to Person when you are viewing the address of the person through the Address tab in the Person screen.	No
  Entity ID	Used to search addresses which are associated to a particular entity. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone. This field is enabled only when you set the entity type to Account, Person, or Adjustment. This field is disabled when you are searching the address using the person name as the search criteria. The Search () icon appears corresponding to the Entity ID field. On clicking the Search icon, the Account Search, Person Search, or Adjustment Search window appears depending on the type of the entity that you have selected. By default, the ID of the person whose address details you are viewing through the Address tab of the Person screen appears in the Entity ID field.	No
  Address Type	Used to search addresses with a particular address type. The valid values are: Account Override Person Mailing Person Seasonal Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No
  Effective Date	Used to search addresses which are effective for an entity on a particular date. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No
  Season Starting Month Day (MM-DD)	Used to search seasonal addresses which are effective from a particular date. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone and select the Person Seasonal option from the Address Type list.	No
  Season Ending Month Day (MM-DD)	Used to search seasonal addresses which are effective till a particular date. Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone and select the Person Seasonal option from the Address Type list.	No
  Status	Used to search addresses with a particular status. The valid values are: Active Inactive Note: This field appears when you click the Advanced Search link available in the right side of the Search Address zone.	No

  Note: You must specify at least one search criterion while searching for an address. One more search criterion (such as, Address ID, Person Name, Country, State, County, Entity Type, Entity ID, or Address Type) is required when you are searching for an address using the Address Line 2, Address Line 3, Address Line 4, or Effective Date field.

• Search Results - On clicking the Search button, the search results appear based on the specified search criteria. The Search Results section contains the following columns:

  Column Name	Column Description
  Address Information	Displays information about the address. Note: It has a link. On clicking the link, the Address Information screen appears where you can view the details of the respective address.
  Address Line 1	Displays the first line of the address. It may contain details, such as house number and apartment name.
  Address Line 2	Displays the second line of the address. It may contain details, such as street name.
  Address Line 3	Displays the third line of the address. It may contain the landmark details.
  Address Line 4	Displays the fourth line of the address.
  Geographic Code	Displays the geographic code of the address.
  Country	Displays the country to which the address belongs.
  City	Displays the city to which the address belongs.
  State	Indicates the state where the city or county is located.
  Postal	Displays the postal or zip code of the address.
  County	Displays the county to which the address belongs.
  Season Starting Month Day (MM-DD)	Displays the date (in the MM-DD format) from when the seasonal address is effective.
  Season Ending Month Day (MM-DD)	Displays the date (in the MM-DD format) till when the seasonal address is effective.
  Status	Indicates the status of the address. The valid values are: Active Inactive

  Note: Pagination is used to display limited number of records in the Search Results section. You can use the navigation links, such as Previous and Next to navigate between pages.

On clicking the Broadcast () icon corresponding to an address, the Address Entities and Address Characteristics zones appear.
