How To Transfer A Credit Balance To A Contract In Arrears
Use the Transfer Adjustment process to apply a "normal" contract's credit balance to another contract's debit balance. The credit contract is the transfer from contract; the delinquent contract is the transfer to contract. The adjustment amount should be a positive number. Refer to How To Create A Transfer Adjustment for more information.
CAUTION: Take care if you apply a credit to a contract
that's on a budget. The transfer adjustment affects current balance
and payoff balance by the transfer amount. If you didn't mean to affect
the customer's current balance, you'll have to issue another adjustment
to change it.
