Note: A last resort. Adjustments should be viewed as a last resort because you should correct the cause of errors, rather than the effect. For example, if a customer's bill is incorrect, you should fix the customer's rate / contract terms and then perform a cancel / rebill. Issuing an adjustment to fudge the balance is really just that - a fudge.
