Clone a Transmission Model

Data Exchange Cloud Service Designer Workbench enables you to clone an existing transmission model, which allows you to reuse the existing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) mapping. This feature duplicates payload mapping from the parent transmission model in the OIC Integration layer. After cloning, you can make incremental mapping changes in the cloned Transmission Model’s OIC Integration to meet your business needs.

During a clone operation, you can only modify the Code and Description.

To clone a Transmission Model, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Transmission Models page.

  2. In the Transmission Model list, select the Transmission Model that you want to clone.

  3. Under the Action, click Flower and select Clone. The Transmission Model’s Info page is displayed with Code and Description as editable.

  4. Change the Code to a new unique value.

  5. (Optionally) edit the Description.

  6. Click Save to clone the Transmission Model.

While cloning the transmission model, the system automatically shows the code value by adding a prefix COPYOF along with the code of the existing transmission model.
